Pan African Legacy (PAL)

Pan African Legacy (PAL) is a cross community service organization that offers an integrated African wellness program built around the concept of village-hood. PAL brings together the best and brightest sparks of contemporary African culture by celebrating Africa’s inclusive music creativity. PAL believes they can all be transformed together through music, just like in the village. PAL encourages participation in cultural art forms for wellness in a community as they believe participation in cultural arts is intrinsic to everyone’s well being. As a hub of creativity and culture PAL envisions everyone having access to a remarkable range of diverse high-quality cultural experiences in this global village. PAL’s longstanding mission is to provide a home-away-from-home for Africans in Canada at large and give a taste of Africa to other non—African members of the community by working cross culturally with all age groups and backgrounds with the aim of promoting a positive embracing of diversity and understanding of the African culture and traditions as well as other cultures within the Canadian communities.
