“Let’s Dream Together”: An Empowering Visioning Event for Women

A visioning session for women from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds can be a transformative opportunity to foster empowerment, community, and collaboration. By providing a safe and conducive space for women to articulate their dreams and goals—both individually and collectively—this activity allows participants to explore and validate their unique cultural identities, often amplifying voices that may be underrepresented. On Friday night, the Multipurpose Hall of the Philippine Canadian Centre of Manitoba Inc. buzzed with energy as ECCM held such an activity at its women’s event dubbed as “Let’s Dream Together!”

After enjoying a delicious dinner that kicked off the evening,  guests went on to an engaging visioning exercise that allowed each participant to reflect on their goals and aspirations. This was followed by an energizing Zumba session, with everyone letting loose and dancing with joy! The evening concluded with a heartfelt friendship circle, which created an uplifting sense of connection and unity.

ECCM sends its thanks to everyone who participated for bringing their passion and presence to the memorable evening. The Council board and staff is proud that the event was a resounding success filled with inspiration, laughter, and camaraderie, and that the insights and ideas that were shared will encourage everyone to dream big and inspire each other every step of the way.
