Statement of Condolence and Support from the Ethnocultural Council of Manitoba (ECCM) – Stronger Together

Statement of Condolence and Support from the Ethnocultural Council of Manitoba (ECCM) – Stronger Together
The Ethnocultural Council of Manitoba (ECCM) – Stronger Together is deeply shocked and heartbroken by the tragic events that unfolded during the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival in Vancouver. The loss of so many innocent lives is a devastating blow, and our hearts go out to all those affected by this unimaginable tragedy.
At this difficult time, we stand in solidarity with the Filipino community in Vancouver, here in Winnipeg, and across Canada. We mourn with you, we grieve with you, and we extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones who are suffering from this profound loss.
ECCM remains committed to fostering compassion, unity, and resilience among all our communities. We reaffirm our unwavering support for our Filipino brothers and sisters and offer any assistance we can provide as you navigate through this period of sorrow and healing.
Together, we are stronger
