Ethio-Canadian Cultural Academy Inc

Ethio-Canadian Cultural Academy Inc. is a non profit organization with the mission of introducing the beautiful culture of Ethiopia to Manitobans and Canadians as the whole. The Academy seeks to keep kids connected to their culture and heritage, so that they are well rounded individuals with a positive self image and a greater sense of community connections with their peers. The organization aims to raise awareness and provide children and youth with an opportunity to learn about their heritage and cultural background. It currently offers various types of traditional dance classes, Amharic and Tigrinya language lessons and organized activities. The Academy also plans to develop, enhance and promote recreation of various dance types and cultural diversity here in Manitoba.
