Westman Immigrant Services (WIS)

Westman Immigrant Services (WIS) is a not for profit organization that is funded by the Government of Canada and has been supporting newcomers to the Brandon area for over 25 years.  WIS delivers settlement services including needs assessments and referral, information and orientation, community connections, youth and family programming, employment services. settlement services in schools, language assessments, language training and skills development. These services help eligible clients attain the English proficiency, awareness and connection to community services, knowledge of Canadian laws, rights, culture and responsibilities they need to function and participate in all aspects of Canadian society and the economy.
